Education in the Andes shouldn’t be a struggle.
THE WHY
In many high-altitude Andean communities, learning takes place in makeshift spaces, lacking the basic conditions needed to concentrate, grow and dream big. Only 40% of rural schools in Peru have adequate facilities. At Patapampa, we believe that this does not determine a child’s future. But it does compel us to take action.
THE PROJECT
Together with the Prelature of Huancané — partners who know the area and its people — we built and fitted out a classroom and a block of toilets for the Huancané Parish School.
A classroom designed for 30 children, but for many generations to come. A change that stands the test of time.
STORIES THAT BEGIN
In the words of those who lived through it.
No one can describe the impact of a classroom better than those who see it every day.
Headteacher of the Huancané Parish School
‘This space has changed the way our children arrive at school each morning.’
Mgr. Giovanni Cefai, Bishop of the Prelature of Huancané
‘Over a hundred children are coming every day and they can receive a first-class education’

HOW YOUR PURCHASE MAKES IT
Every item of clothing has a purpose.
At Patapampa, a portion of every sale goes towards funding real educational projects in high-altitude Andean communities. No unnecessary middlemen, no empty promises.
1. Choose a Patapampa garment.
2. Your purchase helps fund educational projects.
3. The impact is real and verifiable.
